We are excited to announce the Call for Papers for the 24rd Northeast Workshop in Empirical Political Science (NEWEPS) to be held at New York University on Friday, April 25. Please mark your calendars! As usual, we will begin with lunch, followed by three sessions (where all participants read papers in advance), and ending with a happy hour.
If you would like to submit a paper or research design, please complete this form by Friday, March 28. (Only reply to this email if you do not have a Gmail account to upload your submission.)
Only complete drafts of papers or research designs will be considered. To maintain transparency about the selection process, we will take into account average paper scores (blindly scored by NEWEPS conveners), whether the paper is or will be a job market paper, and prior NEWEPS participation (since we operate on a reciprocity model).
We will notify authors of paper selection on or before April 7 and circulate papers for attendees to read before the conference on April 18. Travel to New York and one night of accommodation will be covered for authors of selected papers, but not other conference attendees.
We will send an RSVP link for non-presenting participants closer to the date.
